SPIN CIRCUS TRAINING APPLICATION FORM | 2018

Spin Circus Training Course is a physically intensive training program with activities including aerials, acrobatics, trampolining, strength and flexibility training. It is expected that all participants have private health insurance, and that all students have a Victorian Ambulance membership or insurance that covers this, prior to commencing training. There are no refunds in the event of injury/illness that occur during the course & prevent participant from taking part.

We have a limited number of places available in the course. In the event that applications outnumber places available, this form will be used to assess participant skills and abilities in determining successful applicants. It is therefore very important to ensure you fill out all sections of the form. Additionally, in the event that we do not receive the minimum number of applications to make the course financially viable, the course will not run.

Please complete this form as soon as possible to secure your place in the course.

Successful applicants will be required to pay a 50% non refundable deposit (of the total cost, this includes package deals) within a week of being offered to secure their place. Failure to do so may result in that place being offered to another applicant.

Additionally failure to disclose an existing injury that may impact an applicant’s training may result in their place being offered to another applicant.

*No refunds on training course fees or packages

SPECIALTIES
Participants may choose two skill areas to specialise in. Please choose two from the list below, in order of preference (with 1 being ‘most preferred’). Once applications are submitted, no specialty changes are allowed. This is because of both staffing considerations and the limited duration of the course. As the course is only 8 weeks, it is important for participants training progress to commit to their chosen disciplines. Due to scheduling there is the possibility that participants may not get their second specialty preference. We do our best, but in the event doesn't work we will contact you personally to discuss other options. If a partner specialty is chosen (i.e. adagio) and you have an existing partner also taking the course, please specify them by name & the partnership will be confirmed prior to course commencement. If you wish to undertake a partner specialty and do not have an existing partner, please list your preferred position (base/flyer). We will do our best to arrange communication prior to course commencement to arrange suitable partnerships between students. Did you know, we can offer group specialties such as Teeterboard & Toss The Girl? If you enroll in a Spin Circus Course with an existing group (min 3 ppl) we can source a coach for you!

If you have a particular question, interest, skill or passion let us know. Keen to work on an act? Prior experience in a discipline not mentioned here i.e. Flying Trapeze? Strange skills you’d like to use or share? This is where you can tell us anything extra you’d like us to know.
