What is Spinfest?

Spin Circus Festival features 3 full days of workshops, shows, skills and community. Best of all, everyone is welcome! Whether you are a newbie, intermediate-advanced, practising professional, oldschool, or just a circus groupie, this is where you belong! Open to all ages and experience levels.

We have a HUGE daily timetable with something new to learn or upskill in everyday, with a variety of world-class teachers from around Australia.
Our Workshop timetable is currently under construction, and may be subject to change.
Previous years’ scheduled workshops have included: Acrobatics, aerials, handstands, rou cyr, acroyoga, levi wand, teeterboard, fire spinning, poi, staff, contact staff, double staff, dragon staff, Hat Juggling, acro staff, slackline, hoops, dance, juggling, magic, industry discussions, german wheel, rola bola, chinese pole, lyra, tissu, trapeze, whip cracking, as well as heaps more workshops to be announced! The festival also includes night events and entertainment, including Fire Jams, Gala Shows & Renegade!

Additional Information

Accommodation: There will be a VERY limited release of dorms available for purchase $100 for 4 nights (Thurs/Fri/Sat/Sun). Dorms have a pillow supplied, BYO sheets and sleeping bag. All other accommodation at Spin Festival will be onsite camping (free with ticket purchase), BYO camping equipment. There are shared toilet and shower facilities on site.
Please note: The camp site can be cold overnight, so be sure to pack warm bedding.

Food: Participants may bring their own food to the festival, however there are no camp fires allowed due to bush fire restrictions. There is an onsite canteen which sells a variety of affordable meals including vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options. Discounted Meal passes will also be available to pre-purchase with your ticket ($100 for 3 days) or you can buy per meal onsite. If you have any special dietary requirements beyond this, please bring your own food. You are permitted to use small portable gas stoves at your campsite (in the case of total fire ban, these will need to be used on concreted areas under supervision) but there are no communal fridges. We will have a few ice bags available to buy if you need to top up your esky.

Drinks: A barista manned coffee machine will be available during the day and a bar will be open at night. Fresh water will be available onsite, please bring a water bottle NO ONE USE PLASTIC CUPS.

Important Information: NO WI-FI OR VERY LIMITED RECEPTION ONSITE! There are also no ATMs onsite, so if you want to buy food, coffee or merchandise you MUST BRING CASH!

Getting to site: We are unable to offer a shuttle bus to Spinfest 2024, please arrange for car pooling (and post rideshare offers/looking on our facebook page).
