** HELLO WHAT DO I WHEN I ARRIVE?

------------------------------------------------------------

“Dorming or Camping?”

There will be a friendly face to Welcome you when you arrive and instruct you where to go. We will have a 5min ‘Drop Off Zone’ where you can drop off stuff to your dorm etc, and checkin at the rego desk.

CARPOOLING!!

Are you driving and able to offer a lift from Melbourne (or Sydney or wherever) to APAC? Lots of people are looking for a lift, that can contribute to fuel, driving, or good vibes! If this is you please check out the COMMUNITY CARPOOL THREAD https://www.facebook.com/groups/1003194454100998

** DORMS ARE CLOSE TO BEING SOLD OUT!

------------------------------------------------------------

BUT CAMPING IS FREE!

The Campground is split up into ‘Camping with cars’ and ‘Camping without cars’. Camping without cars is closer to the main site and has a little bit of shaded area.

If you are camping WITH your car/van, or IN your car/van, and its not moving offsite, you can park your vehicle next to your tent. If you want to leave site by vehicle at any time - you must park in the parking lot on the far oval!

There are a handful (8ish) of powered sites that are first come first served. Don’t worry though, there are plenty of places to charge your phones/laptops.

** RAFFLE TICKETS!

------------------------------------------------------------

We are so stoked and lucky to have so many AMAZING Sponsors this year, whom have donated prizes to our RAFFLE!

We have decided this year that everyone gets one free raffle ticket (don’t forget to ask for it) when you arrive and register on Thursday! If you want to up your chances, Raffle Tickets are $2 each or 3 for $5. Make sure you bring cash for this!

The Raffle is drawn on TUESDAY NIGHT (at the Renegade Show) and if your name is drawn first you get first pick of the table, and so on and so on until the table is empty! And this year there is over $5,000 worth of prizes to be won!

** Workshop Timetable https://www.spincircus.com/apac-timetable

------------------------------------------------------------

NIGHTIME JAMS

Each night you will have the opportunity to let loose a bit. We will have music, drinks (for those that have finished acro for the day) and 6 lunge lines set up for everyone to enjoy.

If its cold we may even light a bonfire!

SCREEN PRINTING

Bring something to print the APAC logo on. We will have both black and white ink. You’ll want natural materials, nothing stretchy.

There will be two opportunities to print during lunch. Keep an ear out for these times.

SOCIAL SPOTTING TEAM

This year we have two incredible humans who will be implementing a range of different things at APAC to help everyone feel right at home. They’re at APAC to spot all things non acro.

Having trouble finding someone to work with? Something about the festival is upsetting to you? Frustrated that your handstand isn’t working today? Finding it hard to make new friends? Our Social Spotting team is here to help improve everyones time at APAC.

WEATHER

The current forecast is showing a much milder summer APAC than previous years. We suggest that you bring both light summer clothes and warmer gear for the night. It’s looking somewhere in the 10-24 degrees range for the week.

WORKSHOP DEMO/WARM UP GAMES

At the start of the morning and afternoon sessions we will have demos/explanations of the next two workshops by out trainers. Here the trainers will give any pre reqs or suggestions for those attending their class.
Before the first demo our Social Spotter Sal will get everyones minds and bodies ready for the day with a quick group game.

BINGO

This year we are running a game of bingo throughout the festival. If you wish to participate you’ll be given your bingo card to complete before renegade. Those that are complete will go into a draw for a mystery prize.

** Circus Olympics

------------------------------------------------------------

TUESDAY 9TH OF JAN

The Circus Olympics is held on the last afternoon of the festival - you can choose to participate in friendly yet competitive games centred around acro skills.

We have prizes to give away for our 3 top participants.

** Renegade

------------------------------------------------------------

On our final night we have the infamous APAC RENEGADE! This is a giant party night with bar, friends, and an open stage! That means if you have an act you would like to put on stage, here is the place to do it. There is also a prize for best dressed! Its a supportive and fun environment where anything and everything goes. Under 18’s are welcome for the first half until 10pm, then its time for bed… as things can get a bit crazy!

*on that note - no photos or videos to be taken at renegade without consent!

** PLEASE HELP OUT WHERE YOU CAN

------------------------------------------------------------

We have an amazing team of teachers, crew and volunteers - but if you see a job that needs doing, help us out! It takes a village to make APAC happen. So if you see someone has left their dirty plates or cups on the table, or the toilet paper needs restocking, or we need help moving the couches, or the stage, or the sign has fallen over… THANKYOU for helping! We appreciate your help with the little things <3

** Spin FAQ!

------------------------------------------------------------

* Directions to Camp Cooriemungle can be found here (https://www.spincircus.com/location)
* BRING YOUR BEDDING. If you are in a dorm, only a pillow will be provided, so you must bring a sheet and blanket/sleeping bag with you… or be quite cold. (We do have back ups for those that don’t read this but they are limited)

* We encourage people to take an RAT Test and post a selfie on the way to the fest!! (& Tag us so we can see it!) This isn’t *compulsory* but its the right thing to do. If you have symptoms (or Covid) stay home!!!

(and we will refund your ticket - with medical proof of a positive test)

* If you are arriving after the 8pm meeting on Friday, that’s ok, you will just have to ask your friends what you missed. There will be after-hours access to the campground for those arriving late, and you can ‘check-in’/register in the morning. If you’re in a dorm though don’t forget its first in best dressed for bottom or top bunk! We recommend you arriving early especially if you want to dorm with friends.

* PLEASE DON’T BRING PETS ONTO SITE (or msg us chrisacarlos@outlook.com if this is a problem)

* No BYO. APAC is a licensed event. The bar is open from 5:30pm everyday.

* Food: Participants may bring their own food to the festival, however there are no camp fires allowed due to bush fire restrictions. You may bring your camp stove to the general area to cook.

* There is an onsite canteen which sells a variety of affordable meals including vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options. If you have any special dietary requirements beyond this, please bring your own food.

* You are permitted to use small portable gas stoves at your campsite (in the case of total fire ban, these will need to be used on concreted areas under supervision) but there are no communal fridges.

* We will have ice bags available to buy if you need to top up your esky.

* If you have medication that needs refrigeration please arrange this with us before you arrive email us

* Please only drink or refill your water bottles from taps attached to the kitchen, the rest is bore water (this will be clearly marked) and YOU WILL GET SICK if you drink or brush your teeth with the tap water.

* Please vacate your dorm by 10am on the departure day. Please assist our crew by stripping the bedding and leaving it in a pile on your bed and sweep the dorm.

* You must be offsite by 12pm. We have a very tight cross over with getting the site ready for Spinfest so please adhere to this deadline.

And finally thanks to our sponsors!!!
