There are four different options for accommodation at Camp Cooriemungle:

• Dorm Rooms

• Camping with Cars

• Camping without Cars

• Powered Campsites (RVs).

DORM ROOMS
If you want to sleep in a dorm bed, you MUST purchase a ticket prior to arrival. These are available on our website until sold out. There will not be any spare beds available onsite so if you rock up without a ticket, you will need to free camp.
Dorm rooms hold 4-12 beds and we do not offer private rooms.
All dorm rooms are mixed gender with the exception of one large ‘Female Only” dorm
We will have an “under 18s’ dorm room which is strictly reserved for minors and their chaperones.
Each dorm bed includes one pillow only. Please make sure you bring your own linens, bedding and doonas.
If you have a vehicle with you, there is ample parking space in our top car park.

Selecting your dorm

• Park in the 5 minute drop off zone and head to the rego desk

• Check in at the rego desk and the crew will point you in the direction of the dorm rooms

• Select your room and pick a bed (leave your bags on the bed or make your bed so others know its taken.

• Write your name on the sheet posted on the dorm door

• If you have friends wanting to be in the same dorm, write their names down too

• Move your car to the top carpark

• Do not erase anyones name from the room sheets, move other peoples belongings or take a bed when you haven’t purchased a dorm ticket.

CAMPING WITH CARS
If you have a van, car set up or are joining a large group with your car, you will be directed to the ‘Camping with Cars’ area.
Follow the crews directions and park nose out
Keep the driveways clear
Once your car is in this campsite it cannot be moved.
If you would like to drive in and out while the festival is running then please leave your car in our top campsite.

CAMPING WITHOUT CARS
If you are in a tent and do not need to be camped with your car, you will be directed to the ‘Camping without Cars’ area.
You can bring your car into the area to unload and set up
Once set up, you need to park your car in the top car park.
You may freely drive your car in and out from the festival if it is parked in the top car park.

RV POWERED SITES
Limited powered campsites are available for purchase through our ticketing page. These campsites are for a single van/motorhome and located in the ‘Camping Without Cars’ area.
Please make sure you keep to your space and don’t encroach on your neighbouring powered sites.
If you have friends in vans or cars wanting to camp with you, they CANNOT camp there and will need to move to the ‘Camping With Cars’ area.
If you have friends who are tent camping and don’t need their cars, they can set up camp near the back of your campsite where the ‘Camping Without Cars’ area begins.

Crew members will be monitoring campsites to ensure people are camping/parking in the correct areas. If you are camped in the wrong area you may be asked to move. Please follow the directions given to you upon arrival to make sure our campsites are safe and orderly.

FOOD
Meal passes can be purchased through our ticketing page or directly through the kitchen team onsite.
It covers breakfast, lunch and dinner for the three training days, but does not cover dinner on arrival day or breakfast on departure day - these meals can be purchased separately onsite.
You may also purchase individual meals from the kitchen team if you’re not wanting to purchase a pass for the whole festival

We offer a range of meat, vegetarian, vegan and gluten free dishes.

You are welcome to bring your own food and cooking supplies but please be aware that we do not offer any cooking facilities or refridgerator storage.
Camping stoves are allowed but in the event we have a total fire ban day, you will not be permitted to use it. In that event, we will open up the spare kitchen for you to use.

WATER
Most of Camp Cooriemungle runs on bore water and is unsuitable for drinking.
There will be clearly labelled drinking stations for you to fill up your water bottles as well as water jugs across site for brushing teeth.

DO NOT DRINK THE BORE WATER - you will end up spending your entire festival on the toilet

We have a snackbar with barista coffee, snacks and powerades available for purchase in the mornings and during lunch break.

ARRIVAL DAY

• You’ll be greeted by the welcome team and directed to the appropriate camping/dorm area

• If you are in a dorm, come straight to the rego desk to be shown the available dorm rooms and then get yourself set up

• If you are camping, get set up first and then head to the rego desk

• At the rego desk you’ll receive a wristband and any extra information from the site crew

• Take a wander around site to get familiar with the grounds

• At approximately 8pm there will be a welcome meeting for you to meet your trainers and get any important information from site crew.

If you’re arriving late, be sure to read the sign at the entrance gate and make your way to your campsite.
You can check in at the rego desk in the morning.
Be mindful of other people sleeping and keep noise to a minimum.

DEPARTURE DAY

• You MUST be offsite by 12pm sharp.

• If you are in a dorm room, you must vacate the room by 10am.

• Dorm rooms must be swept and all rubbish removed before you leave.

• Campsites must be left in the same way you found them - leave no trace.
  

If you are staying for the next festival you are more than welcome to stay on site. But please be aware that there is no food provided and you won’t be able to use the training spaces. There is a town 20 minutes away with restaurants and shops.

CASH
Our Festivals are cash only events. We do not have an ATM onsite and we do not offer bank transfer services.
Please make sure you bring enough cash for the event.
The closest town with an ATM available is 20 minutes away.

WIFI
There is no wifi onsite and reception can be very patchy, depending on your service provider. Please be prepared for this.

ALCOHOL
All our festivals are fully licensed with a bar running each evening. There will be beer, wine, cocktails, premix and non alcoholic drinks available to purchase.

The entire campsite is licensed so strictly NO BYO (this includes your dorms and camping areas).
We have been checked by the police in the past and we take this very seriously.

DRUGS
Spin Circus has a strict no drugs tolerance.
Please do not bring any substances to our events, they will be confiscated and you may be asked to leave.

SMOKING
Our events are family friendly and we want all attendees to feel safe and comfortable onsite.
You are welcome to smoke and vape, but we ask that you do it in the smoking area or in an area significantly seperate from other people.
If we notice you smoking/vaping in shared spaces (eg- training spaces), you’ll be politely asked to stop and move to a smoking friendly area.

Our events host anywhere between 60-500 people on site at one time. We’re lucky to have such a spacious campsite but it’s important to be mindful of others while on site to make sure everyone has a great experience.

NOISE LEVELS
To respect the neighbouring properties all music will be turned off at 12am. But don’t worry, we keep the good vibes going by switching to our silent disco headphones so you can keep partying until late.

When heading back to your campsite please be mindful of other people sleeping. Keep any portable speakers to a low volume and the conversations quiet.

BORROWING PROPS
People are generally quite happy to share their props but you MUST ask them first.
Do not take props without asking the owner first if you can use them.

CONSENT
If it’s not an excited ‘yes’ = it’s a no
If it’s a ‘maybe’ = it’s a no
If its a ‘um I don’t know’ = it’s a no.
Anything other than an enthusiastic yes is a no.

Spin Circus is committed to making sure our events remain safe environment for everyone.
Everyone has the right to say no - whether that be someone wanting to borrow your props or asking you to try a new skill or wanting to work together in a workshop.
If you do ask someone to do a skill and they say no, please don’t take it personally - there are many factors why someone might not want to train and that’s okay.

If you feel uncomfortable about something that’s happened, please reach out to Spin Circus staff for help.

We have paramedics on site for all events along with fully stocked medical kits available at the Rego Desk.
All crew and paramedics have walkie talkies so if you are in need of assistance, just find a crew member or head to the Rego Desk and we will get the paramedics to you ASAP

We love your pets but for the safety of all attendees, we ask that you leave your pets at home.

Under 18’s are welcome but they must attend with a chaperone.
There will be reserved dorm rooms for under 18s (they must purchase a dorm ticket) and all minors will be given a wristband on arrival.

We have an under 18’s section of Renegade with child friendly acts.
After that, children are welcome to stay with parental consent but be aware that there may be nudity and R rated content.
Our bar will be selling soft drinks and non alcoholic options.

Children under the ages of 8 years may attend for free as a non participant (cannot attend workshops)

There are no laundry facilities onsite for public use.
The closest town with washing services available is Timboon (15 minute drive)

Spin Circus has a dedicated Head Rigger along with other site riggers who are resposible for pulling lines and setting up the rigs.

If you are wanting to pull lines at the festivals, you must attend the lunging session to be checked off or speak to our head rigger directly to be assessed.
Regardless of your previous experience, you may be told that you cannot pull lines at all or that there may be limitations of what you can do.
We understand that you might disagree with our assessment, but we want to keep everyone safe and our Head Riggers word is final.
